From the WPT Dublin join us as the great Kara Scott talks about her plans for the next few weeks:

I’ve been invited to join the panel of judges for the European Poker Awards in Paris in January, held at the absolutely gorgeous Aviation Club de France. It’s a real honour and I was definitely surprised and happy to be asked. It feels like a big responsibility, so I’ll be considering the possible candidates carefully and trying to make the best possible decision. There are so many fantastic people up for awards that there won’t be any easy decisions!

We’re bringing the New Year in with style here at PartyPoker folks, and so for all of January 2012 you’ll be able to play multi-table tournaments and pay zero in rake.

When I was a kid, if people acted with poor manners then you’d often hear them reprimanded with a ‘What, were you raised in a barn or something?’

Hello from Las Vegas! I’m here at the Rio getting ready to work on the final table for the World Series of Poker. We’re actually airing the final table over the next few days on ESPN2 and ESPN on a ‘same-day’ basis – so with only a 15 minute delay!

I’ve been a bit quiet this month as most of my energy has gone into settling back into Santa Barbara and finding my new place.

After a fantastic trip to Europe, I’m back in California for a few weeks to rest and relax before my next big work trip in November.
